About Us

Jews Say No! engages in community education, street theatre, and organizing, and makes our voices heard within the Jewish community and as partners in the broader movement for justice in Palestine/Israel.

Our leaflet describes why we stand each month with our signs on the Upper West Side of Manhattan:

96 Street

Dear Neighbors:

We are members of Jews Say No!, a group that began during “Operation Cast Lead,” the Israeli attack on Gaza in December/January 2008/09. Ever since then, we have gathered almost every month on the Upper West Side, often with our allies, to show our disagreement with Israeli governmental policies toward the Palestinian people. Israel’s recent assault on Gaza (“Operation Protective Edge”) and its years-long siege of Gaza show how important is our continued presence.
